ABOUT
Douglas VDL is a son of Darco x Capitol I who spent a long time in Ireland. As a young horse he became Champion of Ireland and afterwards he was successful at international level with Connor Swail who won with him at 1.50 m level.Fanny v/d Leeuwerk, the dam of Jana v/h Bevrijdthof, is a daughter of the famous stallion Indoctro, regarded as one of the best jumping horse progenitors of The Netherlands.
The 3rd mother, L.Coradin (v. Corrado I), is also the mother of the KWPN approved stallion Balourado (v. Baloubet de Rouet) who, with Robert Smith, jumps successfully at CSI-1.45 m level.
L.Coradin is also a full sister of the stallion Corraldo and from this direct dam lineage come the stallions Calimero, Hauptlord and the international jumping stallion Utah S.W. Z who jumps at CSI 1.50 m level.
